6WSP is offered by Shweta and the rules can be found at her blog: My Random Ramblings
The theme is SURPRISE.
The story word limit is 6 words (words, NOT characters!). No more and no less. It’s not necessary to use the prompt word. However, the story should be relevant to the prompt.
So here’s my response:
The prompt has gotten various responses so far, as you’ll see at Shweta”s blog. Keith, over at Keith’s ramblings, has posted his tiny tale here …and leaves us all to wonder/imagine what the question was. 😉
Haha. That one made me laugh. Poor cat! Cat would have definitely given a major shock to his/her human!

I know whereof I speak. 🙂 One day I was in the office working on my computer when our cat Angus came in and dropped a gopher at my feet. Another time when we were outside he came walking up to us holding a mourning dove by one shoulder! The poor bird was flapping frantically and I made him let it go.

Reminds me of my milkman years ago. Said he’d deliver no more bottles till I trained my cat not to leave part-eaten mice on my doorstep. Oops. I guess it’s not yet you want to see at 5:00 am.

I’m with him. I’m sure no one wants to see half-eaten mice at any time of day. But you can’t “train” a cat. 😦
Thanks for your comment..

Yea, that’s what I told him. Then called him a a wimp. He got over it.

And yet, we should appreciate their “gifts”! Hah! Food one.

Well, they would appreciate it if we caught something for them, so why the snit? 😉
Love your typo, by the way — if it was one.

You can’t blame the cat for looking a bit disappointed, can you? Thanks for the shout-out Christine. I’m not sure what the question was myself!

No, you can’t blame the cat. He’s tried his best.
You’re welcome for the “shout-out.” Must look that up in the dictionary. 🙂
