Yes, they are. This is a Pixabay image but I lightened them up a bit with Photo-Edit. The upward look is definitely appealing but oh, the climb!

Yes, indeed. We haven’t had stairs in our home for over ten years and I really feel it when I have to go up a flight. 😦

I used to run up stairs when I was working. Actually, I can still do it. It’s just I get more breathless.
