Our cat is always scrapping with the neighbour’s, even if they’re both fixed. The neighbour cat is peaceable enough, but not ours, Siamese in nature if not in looks, his statement is, “This is my territory, buddy, so beat it!” And when they tangle, ours always gets the worst of it. 😦

That is a horrifying sound, especially in the middle of the night. Can sound like a baby crying.
