A meadowlark has been at the dog park the last few mornings, but not today, I think he has carried on his way!
We’ve had robins around — maybe still do. I’ve been setting out plates of water in the garden for the birds since it’s so dry and sometimes we see at least a dozen birds around them.
One morning we got a real treat when I happened to look out the back window to the poplar behind the house and saw at least a dozen young sage grouse romping around back there. A short while later their mother had them all gathered together and they headed through our yard on the east side.
