Those boxes so frustrate me – why oh why did we not take the time to put a date and names?

I’ve known different people who have/had boxes of photos and the golden intention to “label them and put them all in an album someday.” One day a cousin showed me a pile, supposedly our forebears, but who?? No one alive today can guess.

I’ve got a small hamper stuffed with photos. I honestly can’t remember anything about quite a lot of them!

One sad thing is that some people miss many actual events because they’re so busy trying to document it for “later” and then forget the who’s who in the photos. And when mom or dad pass on, the heirs glance at the pics, shrug, and toss them. “You can see this sort of stuff on You-tube anyway.”
Whoops! My grandkids may look through my box of misc. half-baked poems and say the same. 😉
