The Ragtag Daily Prompt is CHOCOLATE.
And my response will be this wordy little verse:

Lover of Gourmet Words Extols the Value of Chocolate
When you’re feeling Cimmerian
’cause your effort’s gone awry,
or the task’s so herculean
that it makes you want to cry,
Mellow chocolate’s in order;
it will soothe the trenchant woe,
make the day a little brighter
when the gloamin’ start to grow.
When you’re hoping for elation
and instead receive a shock
when you feel disconsolation
hit you like a cold wet sock,
What you need is chocolation
your meliorism to renew
and reduce the aggravation
of the workload placed on you.
🙂

Yup! Nothing beats chocolate 🙂

Well, I’ve never won the lottery so I can’t compare that bliss. 🙂 Otherwise you’re quite right. And you never have so much that you must worry about investing it.

What fun you had. The word I like the best is the one you made up: chocolation. Have you heard the song, “Roamin’ in the gloamin’?”

My Dad Forsyth’s parents were from Scotland. Yes, heard it many times, and on various TV shows in my youth.
