We had a mini blizzard Monday night. Didn’t get that much snow but the wind was serious and there was a lot of drifting. For some reason I’m fascinated by blowing snow and watched it for a good while before I went to bed. By now our nice white world has disappeared. 🙂

We got enough snow for me to decide to work from home!
It’s pretty while it falls… once the snow ploughs come in, though, what a mess!

Out here it’s more the cars that make the biggest mess. You have a super-efficient snow clearing operation there. My husband longs for something more like that here.
In Saskatoon they let snow get packed down in ruts and many side streets don’t get touched for a good while after a heavy snow, leaving one center track open for traffic. After all, spring is coming. 🙂

I must admit we do have a kick-ass system… mostly. I would not want to live in one of the small streets in the Plateau. They get cleaned last. And it’s a pain in the butt trying to park.

Kids here are dying to see snow, a shame your wind didn’t blow some our way!

We’ve waited so long to see some precipitation that we’re not willing to share our bounty. 🙂
