I haven’t done Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt for awhile, but this one goes well with my musings over the Ragtag Daily Prompt — THUNDEROUS — so I’ll cover both with this very brief tale.

The Wannabe

“I want spotlight,” she told me. “Recognition, accolades, perks!”
Some months later she received thunderous applause for her bestseller, Blissfully Unknown.
