The Clarity of Youth A new generation, youth ready to right all the wrongs of this old world. It boggles their minds how we’ve let things get in such a mess, why people haven’t sorted it out by now when answers are so simple and so clear – to them. You almost wish they'd never have to learn how complex issues can be.

I DO wish they didn’t have to learn how complex these problems are and how people equally passionate fighting in the opposite direction. But maybe maturity requires a little disillusionment.

Right. Becoming discouraged doesn’t take us anywhere. Yet the older we get, the more human we find others are — and finally how human we ourselves are. Also, the more we learn how seemingly simple solutions have been tried and led to other problems. 🙂

Yes. It’s the burden of every generations, but we have made a bit of progress in some areas. And today’s youth will leave their mess to the next ones. 🙂
